What is a conflict?
A conflict is when one steno outline is entered in the dictionary as two or more words/phrases. Once you start writing full sentences in speed building, you can start teaching your software's AI which one to pick in what context. Once it learns a bit, the AI will start picking it correctly 99% of the time. You can watch this Eclipse Tutorial to see how to select conflicts. Make sure to only select the conflict when it is used in a full sentence that makes sense. Otherwise, it will learn the entry incorrectly. If the sentence doesn't make sense, but you want to select an option, hold shift and then press 1 or 2, depending on which slot the conflict you want is in. This will tell the software not to learn it in that context, but it will select it in your realtime file.
During your theory tests, you will not be marked wrong for having the conflict in there. We are mainly looking at your steno.
In Eclipse, go to settings, click on the Translate tab, and then check the box that says "Pick 1st conflict by default." In the dictionary, the more common of the two or more entries for the conflict is in the first spot so that this setting can work to the best of its ability. When you make conflicts in the future, make sure to do the same. Feel free to ask if you think it is a good idea to make a certain thing a conflict. There probably won't be much, if anything, you will need to conflict while in speed building.

How do I make a conflict?
When you want to create a conflict, put your cursor on the word you want to edit, press G while in Hyperkeys, and then type what word you want it to be. Eclipse will then ask you if you want to overwrite the entry or make it a conflict. If you want to conflict it, then select that option. You can also manually enter a conflict by using the backslash. So you can go to the global window again and type backslash, the first conflict, backslash, the second conflict. Then you select overwrite instead of conflict because you already told Eclipse how you want the entry to be. So KHEUL would look like this: \chill\which I will
